After getting rejected from the school play my freshman year of highschool, I found improv! I joined the After School Matters program at The Second City and my life was changed. I took the Second City classes back to my high school and facilitated weekly improv clubs; I also organized performances, funraisers, and extended opportunities to my fellow teammates.
In May of 2019, I gave my TEDx Talk on how the pillars of improv comedy gave me direction as my family battled against my stepmother's breast cancer.
